Ridgeline & River started with a simple idea; there's more out here than people realize.
I'm Dakota, based in Southwest Ohio, sitting at the edge of the Midwest where it starts to roll into the hills of Appalachia. The Ohio River runs to the south, Shawnee State Forest is an hour away, and Red River Gorge is close enough for a weekend trip. This region doesn't get the attention it deserves.
This site is the written companion to the YouTube channel; gear reviews, trip reports, trail breakdowns, and fishing logs from someone who's out there figuring it out in real time. No gear was handed to me. No trip was sponsored. Just honest time on the water and trail.
